I am a new user. I began by importing one of my topics into 1 database within DTP. I saved this database to an external drive. The database holds over 130,000 individual files for a total of 90+GB of data. I’m concerned this is too large of a file to have. Is there a limit or recommended limit to set for database size? Since all the data is related by topic, it makes sense to me to keep it together but is this wise given the volume?
If this is a ridiculous “newbie” question, I apologize. I like the program and am excited to learn more of what I can do with it but don’t want to have a catastrophic failure due to my own ignorance. Any clarification is appreciated.
