My default database won’t open in DTP - 2.2.1. Other databases open but not this particular one. It appears under the Recent Databases in the side panel but gives a beep when I double-click on it. When I use the File/Open menu, the file selection screen disappears but nothing happens. No data is displayed and the database does not appear in the Open Database list. It remains in the Recent Database list. If I double-click the file, in Finder, DTP opens but the database is not loaded.
The database is damaged and DEVONthink cannot open it.

An important thing I neglected to say in the previous post is that restoring from the DTP backup wasn’t working. The “restored” file would, still, not open.
I restored to the day-before-yesterday’s backup of the database file from Time Machine so, I didn’t lose much and I’m back up and running.

That’s, exactly, what I was looking for. I didn’t have to use the procedure outlined but it was still very useful information and good to know I don’t have to rely, solely, on Time Machine.
