Databases re-uploading after latest update

I just updated to new version.

Now, my databases are uploading again to my sync store located in dropbox. Is this expected behavior?

same here - I’m in trouble because lots of GBs are transferring, old documents never changed since weeks are transferred to dropbox.
and I see a folder called (null) within DEVONthink Packet Sync growing and growing.

strange situation - seems Dropbox sync is broken with V2.9.9.
After re-syncing some databases their content is not available on iPad. Seems synced data are somewhere - if I select a new sync location on iPad no databases are shown within the sync location???

I’ve opened a support ticket - sync doesn’t work anymore via Dropbox.

Confirmed. Thanks for the report!

Same is happening to me. Should I keep it allowing to sync or shut it down and wait for a fix?

Same happening here, running DTP on 10.11.6. If this was intended behavior, you really need to have in bold print in the what’s new/release notes dialog that users need to allocate time to re-upload the entirety of their synced data.

I would guess this would only happen if the sync store format changed. I run DTP on two other machines. So I’m wondering: Should I upgrade DTP on those before launching (or at least before syncing)? Or is this a bug with a quick fix that I should wait for before syncing the database elsewhere?

The bug has been noted, but I can’t say if anything’s a “quick fix”. Development has been made aware of the issue.

A fix will be available soon. In the meantime disable synchronizing to Dropbox or downgrade to v2.9.8.

Sorry - I’m a new user. I’m having the Dropbox sync issues. How do I downgrade to 2.9.8 as suggested please?

Thank you.
