Date format in sheets (a.k.a. tables?)

Hi all.

I created a sheet, two text columns and one date column.

In the date column, I enter “2019-10-07”. This gets changed (automatically) to “2019-Oct-7”.

Can this behaviour be prevented?

P.S. I searched the FM on “date format”, but Preview returned “No Results Found”.

The Date format in sheets uses the Medium date string as specified in System Preferences > Language & Region > Advanced > Dates.

Hi. I know that. I was hoping I would not have to change my system pref.

(Couldn’t this be a preference in DevonThink??? Couldn’t the FM mention this in the initial setup?)
