Dead connection in DA

I am not sure what is happening but today I find I have a dead connection so that no searches will occur in DA. Everything else seems to be online and doing fine. I use Little Snitch and I checked through It’s rules and I see no place that is blocking DA?

I cleared the cache, no luck.

What is happening: Put in a search word or string, hit enter, a blue background begins to fill the search term field like normal but now It goes for about a second and then stops the search and It opens a blank window as if It found no results.

Any ideas?
