Dear markdowners - replacing links with transclusions?

Dear all, don’t know if I’m asking the question right, but

I have a markdown document with several links to other documents inside Devonthink. If I want to take this document on the road, I know (I think) that the links will be lost in DTG (of course). So I was trying to swap all these links with transclusions - is that possible (and advisable?)

tx!

P.S. Forgot to say, I might export this md to a pdf in Apple Notes as well.

The links wouldn’t be broken if the linked documents are in DEVONthink To Go as well.
Wouldn’t you have those documents as well?

Jeez Jim, let me try and sync to get this all into my iPhone

Uh, embarrased but happy here. Thank You! And no, you are NOT chopped liver

So changing the question slightly - for curiosity sake - is it possible to batch swap links to transclusions?

While it’s technically possible, it would be even less useful if the documents weren’t available. One would yield broken links, the other would yield a vast emptiness.

Except for images, the behavior of a link and a transclusion aren’t synonymous.

Thanks Jim - they’re all pdfs.
