Deleted Custom Metadata field keeps coming back

I had set up 2 custom fields, deleted one a few times, but it keeps coming back. Any ideas?

Do you use multiple Macs and what kind of sync location do you use to synchronize them?

Does deleting the metadata field on both Macs fix this?
