AntiWordService is useless on 10.3.x/10.4.x (as those versions include their own converter for Word documents) and PDF2RTFService is faceless. Install it, log out, log in and just open a PDF via TextEdit for example.

PDF2RTFService requires Mac OS X 10.4.x.

With OSX10.4.2, pdf2rtf service works with TextEdit, but not with Pages (v1.0.2). Are there any settings that need to be modified in Pages for it to work?
Thanks
George

It doesn’t work with Pages for me, as well.

My guess is that Pages isn’t quite Cocoa standard. Apple has done that sort of thing before.

Workaround would be to use TextEdit to grab the text from a PDF document, save the text file, then open it under Pages.

No, contrary to most Cocoa applications, Pages does not support filter services at the moment.
