Deleting an item without loading it

If i open a menu with a right-click of an unselected file and then select “Delete” DevonThink will load the file (or open the url) before asking me the confirmation.

Is possibile to avoid this reduntant behaviour?

I switch to Columns or List view if I need to select and delete a file without displaying it.

That’s especially important if one has imported a corrupted file that can’t be opened without a problem.

Switching, e.g. to Columns view can also save time if the file is enormous and requires time to be displayed.
