Deleting DTP2 after installing DTPO2

I just moved up from DTP2 to DTPO2 and got myself a Fujitsu ScanSnap—I don’t know why I waited so long!—and the installation went smoothly.

I dragged DTP to the trash, but when I tried to empty the trash I got a message saying I couldn’t because the Sorter was in use, followed by messages about other things being in use.

Before I Force Empty the trash, I wanted to check that it would be safe to do so. Is it?

Click on the Sorter tab to open it, then click on the cogwheel symbol at the bottom of the Sorter panel, and choose “Quit”.

Now you will be able to delete DT Pro.
