When I select the widget after having pressed F12 to call up the dashboard, then nothing happens - no blinking cursor.
I have to exactly pinpoint and click on a very small area top left of the widget in order for the cursor to show up. Only then I can start writing!
This is different on Apple’s own note widget: a simple click anywhere in the yellow zone fires up the blinking cursor.
It can be done
