I must have searched wrong because I didn’t find the answer to this. What is the significance of a file called DEVONtech_storage, which appears from time to time on my desktop. Can I just delete it? The current one is 4KB in size.
That DEVONtech_storage file contains metadata associated with files exported from the database. This file will be useful if the export was made with the intention of re-importing the exported material into a DEVONthink database.
But if you didn’t plan on reimporting the exported content back into a different database, the DEVONtech_storage file is useless and can be safely deleted.
