DEVONthink 4.1.1 compatibility with macOS27

Good morning all,

My license only allows upgrade until 4.1.1. Right now, this version crashes every time I try to open the app. I read somewhere in this post that it is because this is not compatible with the macOS27 beta. Will this version ever be upgraded to support the latest OS?

Welcome @necromancer

The current version of DEVONthink is 4.3.2. Your version is far out of development now and we don’t have the time and resources to patch out-of-development versions, especially ones two point releases behind. Getting your license current is the best option. Remember, there is a discount for multi-year extensions. Many people have been choosing a three year extension. And lastly, if you’re using the Pro or Server edition, you can license our mobile application – DEVONthink To Go – with a mobile seat and it too would be fully licensed for the same period of time.

Also, unless you’re testing and reporting on macOS 27 for work, it is not a wise idea to run a beta operating system on a machine you need running normally.

Thank you for your response. I recently bought yearly subscription for DEVONthink To Go. Do you think it would possible to get refund on that to buy the multi year extension?

You’re welcome!

That is a question for Apple’s App Store support. All App Store transactions are done and controlled by Apple, not the developers.
