Devonthink and Endnote

Like many (it seems) I would like to be able to integrate Endnote with Devonthink.

The “Reference (From Endnote)” template is helpful, but I’ve been trying also to find a way to link to the relevant Endnote reference from DTPO (not just pull the data into an annotation in DTPO).

The French and German Localizable strings in the Reference (from Endnote).templatescriptd include a text placeholder that reads

This is tantalizing, as it sounds like exactly what I want to do, but I can’t see any such place to click in DTPO. Am I missing something, or was this for a feature not yet added?

Unfortunately as far as we know Endnote does not (yet?) allow to link back to items in the database, like e.g. Bookends does. That is why the template doesn’t do it. The texts you found are used in the Bookends template.

Ah, okay, thanks. And knowing that Endnote doesn’t allow it saves me looking for another way of doing it.
