DEVONthink keeps crashing for me since I moved to a new Mac mini. Is 15.1 OS the reason for this (are there any known issues?).
It crashes when clicking on a pdf in the inbox every time.
If it matters I have my databases on a external hard drive.
All databases (12 of them) was verified when imported and i did manually verify them now but made no difference.
I can view pdfs in a database.
But just to clarify. It was not a pdf that created this behavior (I assumed it was so sorry for that). I attached what kind of file.
I am not seeing a crash on the 15.2 beta (and no, that’s not a suggestion to run a beta operating system). In DEVONthink, hold the Option key and choose Help > Report bug to start a support ticket.
In this case no. I’m not an expert in DEVONthink - I just a happy user storing many files in it.
But it’s like when in this case Macrumors is loaded in DEVONthinks browser it crashes.
I was just surprised for a second. The mighty DEVONthink, brought to it’s knees… by a measly bookmark ?
Actually, it has happned to me before. I only have 8 GB of RAM on my current machine. So if I already have a lot of stuff open and accidentally click the bookmark to a heavy site, I can get the beachball, in rare cases a crash. I don’t remember MacRumors being crazy heavy though.
Mayby there is something in your web settings, maybe something else. Bluefrog will better be able to help you than me
Web pages can have content incompatible with the version of WebKit in DEVONthink (and no, replacing the framework isn’t a trivial matter). However, I didn’t see a crash here so we’ll look at the logs internally.
