DevonThink Disappeared on Upgrade

Devon said it needed to upgrade and to click and it would restart. So i did. It didn’t restart. The application icon is damaged and it won’t open.

What do i do?

Quit the Sorter if it is running and download the disk image from the DEVON Web site. There have been multiple reports of problems similar to yours when using the in-app updater. I’ve found that just downloading the app and re-installing from the disk image is the most reliable. It’s also possible that you will get a ‘database is already open’ warning when you launch the new app if your open database(s) were not closed during the initial attempt at the update. Just confirm and let DT open them, and run the verify command from the Tools menu as a precaution.
