DT seems ideal for setting up a patent portfolio. My needs are fairly simple; keeping a portfolio based on markets and competitors. DT’s native search capabilities should allow me to find patents for a given interest quickly. However, I would like to be able to see all patents for a particular company preferably with indication of priority date. Tagging seems the best option to do this i.e. tag an issue with company name. How about priority and/or granted date, any preferred way of handling these? I guess I could tag these as well but I rather would like to avoid tagging too much (hassle, mistakes etc.)
I would love to hear of your experiences using DT for this purpose.
