DEVONthink Stuck on "Importing" when Reparing

I have a couple of databases that DEVONthink reports as corrupted. I try to do the verify & repair, and the rebuild database commands. It appears to get stuck on “importing …” and then just hangs. Activity Monitor shows DEVONthink in red as non-responsive.

How to recover the databases?

Hvae you rebooted your machine?

BTW, if the database is actually beyond DEVONthink’s repairing abilities then a backup from TimeMachine, etc would be the place to go.

Thanks. Figured that was the answer. Now to try to figure out how two databases became in that condition.
