I’ve started seeing Devonthink terminate unexpectedly. It happens when I add an annotation file, perhaps every 50th time. It happened a few minutes ago. Now I can’t recreate it.
That’s a pretty miserable bug report, but it’s all I’ve got. Hopefully I’ll be replacing my old hand-crank Macs with new all-electric models before too much longer. I’m sure once I’m on the current OS and DT 4 a lot of things are going to be way cooler.
As soon as I stabilize on zero debt, I’m there.
Anyway, just food for thought. If I can get more data I’ll forward a trouble ticket.

When DT terminates on adding an annotation, the next launch of that database warns it may be open, natural since it quit without closing the database, and the unmodified annotation appears as an orphaned file.
