DevonThink Webserver as company knowledge management

Hello everyone,

We are currently planning to reorganize and restructure the internal knowledge management in our company. It is primarily a ms-windows-based network. We are currently discussing the use of various solutions, including DevonThink because search is nearly everything and in this discipline this software is gorgeous. For the many windows users, the DevonThink web server would be a good and obviously only choice.

Has anyone had any experience with this?
I would also be interested in how the appearance can be customized.

  • Is it possible to display thumbnail views instead of just the list view, especially for media files?
  • Can filters be saved?
  • What determines the default layout of the text or markdown notes? The tiny serif font is not really nice by default. How can this be adjusted?

I would be very happy about a little exchange on this.

Kind regards

Maic

No, the views can’t be changed in websharing.

  • Can filters be saved?

I’m not sure what filter you’re referring to, but no smart groups cannot be created, neither manually or by saving a search, in websharing.

A screen capture would help.
