If I connect my iphone 7 to my IMac (Sierra) with a USB cable then is it possible to sync DTPO and DTTO without any other settings?
Or if not then should I use Bonjour (which I’ve never used so will entail a learning curve) and if so then would that have to done using wifi or could I use ethernet? or 4G?
Not without using Bonjour for Syncing.
You can use Bonjour via the cable. There’s not much to learn. Turn on Bonjour on the Mac in DEVONthink’s Preferences > Sync > Bonjour Options. Then add the Mac as a Sync location in DTTG2’s Settings > Sync: Edit Locations. Then select it and flip the switch to import databases.
