Do i need the ScanSnap S510M? Or can I still buy the Win Version S510. It seems a good Scanner but its very expansive. The Link here in the forum points to Amazon.com. But I m in Austria. I need it from Amazon.at/de. Its nearly the double price. So do I need the Mac Version, with the Mac Software (I dont need Acrobat Professional) when I use it with DTP Office Pro. Is there any Software bundled with, what make sense to pay about $300.- more for the Mac Version.

To connect the Windows S510 to the Mac you need the Japanese driver, some people report. The standard Mac driver will not work with the scanner hardware made for Windows.
