Do item links survive?

I imagine this is referenced somewhere, but I’ve been unable to find it:

If I link to a document in a DTP3 database using Edit>Copy Item Link and subsequently move the document to a different DTP3 database, will the link survive?

Also, what is the difference between Edit>Copy Item Link and Edit>Copy URL?

It will. Neither the location nor the name of the linked item matters.

Also, what is the difference between Edit>Copy Item Link and Edit>Copy URL?

The first link is DEVONthink-specific and automatically created whereas the URL is the one e.g. of clipped websites or bookmarks or specified by the user (see URL field in Info inspector).
