I just want to say that the documentation for DT4 is, so far, much better than I’ve seen in previous versions (I’m talking about the PDF document).
Thank you
Thank you for the nice feedback!
May i ask if there’s anything specific you think is better?
I don’t remember for which version I last read the documentation but at that time my experience was that of a typical manual, going through each feature in detail - perhaps closer to a reference manual (better than a camera manual but of the same type).
This version, I’m currently at page 181, is different. It gives me an overview of the capabilities of DT without going into too much detail. In fact, it goes into enough detail so I realize the power and flexibility of DT, without putting me to sleep . I assume the details will come later.
I also think the language is more relaxed than I remember.
Another way of describing it is that I get the impression that it’s written by a writer that use and understand DT, instead of a developer, or a writer that doesn’t use DT for real.
I hope that you understand how I experience the documentation
I really appreciate you sharing your comments and things you pointed out were part of my goals for the new documentation.
