Documents with no home

Hi

I imported a PDF into DT (see attached file). In this screen shot, file named “testb” has no tags and is not in a group. I don’t know how this happened. But the only place I found it was in the “all PDF documents” folder. So my question is where does a document “live” if it is not in a group, inbox or has no tag?

You will find it at the top level of the database. To see that, click on the little “Home” icon in the Toolbar.

Note that if you select the document in the smart group and press Command-R (the “Reveal” command), you will be taken to a view displaying the document.
