I downloaded this program on my Mac but I didn’t see any suggestions during the trial period and I’m wondering if I missed any crucial steps. Thoughts ?
Did you enable the DEVONthink category in the preferences? If DEVONthink is not running at the same time or not all databases are opened, then you have to enable the Spotlight index of the databases (see File > Database Properties) to update DEVONsphere’s index.
where are stored the indexed data on the mac? thanks
Enabling the DEVONthink category in DEVONsphere Express is sufficient, it’s not necessary to add any folders to the locations.

That varies on the amount of data being indexed.
In the Finder, select the Go menu while holding the Option key, then choose Library.
In the Application Support/DEVONsphere Express directory, check size of the Index folder.
