Drop in closed database

Hi

I’d love to be able to drop items on a closed database in order to put them into this database inbox, for later triage. Now I have to open the DB, drop, close the DB.

Databases can’t be modified while closed but you could for example…

  • create a group for each database in the global inbox which are processed by smart rules and drop onto these groups

  • create a folder for each database in the Finder, then index it to the database. Then you could add stuff to this folder.
