Dropbox and DT on iPad

For the sync between computer and iPad, I use Dropbox. It works well.

Outside of DT I’m having trouble getting Dropbox to actually download files I want offline. I need to uninstall and reinstall Dropbox on the iPad do I need setup again DTTG sync again?

The sync of DEVONthink To Go and the Dropbox.app are actually independent. However, it’s unclear which files you expect “outside of DT” and where exactly.
