Today I installed DT Office Pro 2.9, and I am still wrestling with the new sync routine. When trying to set up the sync with my WebDAV provider (Strato) in DT, I get an error message telling me I cannot initialise the sync, “forbidden (403)”. However, I can access the WebDAV server via the Finder, and DT 2.8 runs fine using the old sync stores on the same server without any problem, which is why my guess is that something in the new DT version does not work as it should. Does anybody have any clues as to what might be going on, or what I can do to resolve this problem?

In short: DT 2.8 put together the server and the path for you, which DT 2.9 no longer does. Perhaps this would be useful to explain in the manual / help document?
and to Devon: How about simply telling that the formely ‘path’ now has
to be appended to the URL? It’s very annoying to install an update and
afterwards have to try for hours to recreate a sync store.
Kann ich die Cloud per Webdav einbinden ohne Sync Clienten ?
Das ist jederzeit möglich. Es steht Ihnen ebenso frei, andere Synchronisierungstools wie goodsync, cyberduck,… zu verwenden. Empfohlen sind die Sync Programme von Nextcloud und ownCloud.

Ich habe nun per WebDAV eine Datenbank synchronisiert.
Sie existiert als Lokaler Sync Store und als WebDAV.
Nun versuche ich gemäß Anleitung auf eurer Seite diese Datenbank in DT to go zu aktivieren.
Habe ich das richtig verstanden, dass ich in Einstellungen, Unterpunkt Synchronisierung, Speicherorte “Bearbeiten” tippen muss, um dann die WebDAV-Einstellungen und den Sync Store Namen anzugeben?
Das habe ich jedenfalls getan und die App meckert nicht bei Adresse, Benuter und Passwort sowie Syncstorename und Passwort.
Sichere ich dann den Speicherort, wird die DB mit einem Clouddatenbanksymbol angezeigt mit Namen “Syncstorename” und “WebDAV (benutzername@webdavadresse)” darunter
Tippe ich auf diesen Eintrag, bekomme ich im nächsten Fenster die Möglichkeit den Globalen Eingang zu aktivieren. Nach kurzer Tätigkeit erscheint dort dann “Nicht sync.”
Was mache ich falsch?
EDIT: Scheint am Clouddienst zu liegen. Devonthink Protokoll sagt: Cloud Speicherplatz nicht ausreichend. Was nicht sein kann, da die DB sehr viel kleiner ist als mein Speicherplatz.
