Am about to upgrade from DT Pro to DT Pro Office BUT have one unanswered question…
I know DT Pro Office can OCR a PDF, either when creating it or retrospectively, but does it place the results “inside” the PDF (making it the usual self-contained PDF-with-text) or does it just place the OCR result someplace in it’s database index (i.e. outside of the PDF file)???
I want to be able to pull the PDF files out of DT sometimes and still have them searchable from (say) Spotlight.
