Useful might be also how the sidebar is sorted (by kind/name or unsorted, see contextual menu).

This happened with my fifth attempt. It is not 100 percent reproducible. Sometimes it happens more often, sometimes less. After the update to 3.5.1 it happens approx every 2nd attempt. And the focus jumped also to a database, with bad results. Sidebar is sorted by kind.
The next release will fix this.
