DT3 always requires me to File > Quit 2x before the application closes

I note that every time I want to close / restart DEVONthink, my first attempt at File > Quit (or Command-Q) just does nothing. I end up having to go to File > Quit a second time to get the application to close down completely. Is this a bug? Something I’m doing wrong? A setting I can toggle?

Any input would be appreciated.

One thought: do you have Sync on exit set in your DT Preferences? If so, and if the sync tales a while, that might be related

The app delays the termination until all active syncs are completed, quitting a second time terminates the app immediately.
