DT3(b2) : Document Display flicker

Hello,

I don’t remember this behavior from Beta1 but I might be wrong, anyway in Beta2 when switching from Source to Preview in “View > Document Display” there is annoying short white flash of the entire document area before the display changes. This is probably only noticeable in Dark Mode.

BTW I know you don’t recommend this but FWIW have switched to DT3 since Beta1 on my production machine (after making a backup of everything of course) and the experience has been as smooth as butter, including WebDAV sync to iOS. Not once did I have to go back to DT2.

What kind of document did you view and which macOS version do you use?

Markdown document (switching between source and preview).

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) AMD Radeon R9 M395 2 GB macOS 10.14.4

Do you use 10.14.4 or already 10.14.5? I’ve noticed flickering also in other web views since installing 10.14.5 and not only in Dark mode.

I just edited my reply, sorry about that… I forgot to add I was on 10.14.4. So probably not related to 10.14.5.
