DT3 - Log window disappears when giving other apps focus

This is a long-time issue for me. Whilst others want the Log window out of the way, I actually want it to stay if it’s got something to report. It’s an annoyance when the log displays something and I move out of DT3 to research the problem, only to find the Log window has disappeared. The only way to get it back is to give DT3 focus. Would be good if it could stick around until I decide to dismiss it.

There may be a setting somewhere that does what I want, but I can’t find it. Also the “?” (help?) just brings up MacOS help, which really doesn’t apply in this case (or actually help at all).

The Log window should never be automatically closed while DEVONthink 3 is running. But it’s hidden when DEVONthink 3 is inactive.

Yes - and that’s what I want to stop happening! Although I’ve moved away from DT3, it’s not inactive at all - DT3 panes are still displayed, but the Log window disappears.
