Having moved items from one database to another, I am having a clear out of duplicate items, 2981 items. Using smart rule Filter Duplicates, when I Select All and then delete DT3 won’t let me. But when I select a few items and then delete DT3 will. Is that expected behaviour?

The number of selected items shouldn’t matter. But removing duplicates that way isn’t recommended as your removing all duplicates that way. Instead you could select the items and use Scripts \> Data \> Move Duplicates to Trash…

This script ensures that one copy of each document will remain in the database.
