DT3 Restore or Reset All Settings & Preferences?

  1. Is there a way to reset all settings/preferences to default state from within DT3? (as if it had been a fresh install)
  2. If not, what is the best course of action?

As we get close to the final release of DT3, I realize that I have a lot of preferences and settings changed as a way of experimenting with the UI.

Due to the way macOS handles preferences nowadays, this is the correct method…

  1. Quit DEVONthink.
  2. Open /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app and paste:
    defaults delete com.devon-technologies.think3
    and press Return.
  3. Type: exit , press Return and quit Terminal.
  4. Relaunch DEVONthink.
