As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, the new Smart Rules have the capacity to be transformational.
However, since Smart Rules aren’t part of a database, they aren’t explicitly saved. Nor does there seem to be a way to export them (unless I’ve missed it).
That means one could potentially lose all the work you put into Smart Rules if you, say, reinstall your Mac. It also means there’s no easy way to share Smart Ruled with others in your group.
Is there any way to save or export Smart Rules that I’ve missed?
Edit: I note that Smart Rules are saved in ~/Library/Application Support/DEVONthink 3/SmartRules.plist. I suppose one can copy this file, as a last resort.
