I guess I was under the misconception that I could try out all the features DEVONthink4 has to offer while the version is still beta. Even the server version. I have a license of DEVONthink 3 pro.
Now I have installed beta2 and see that the server functionality is gone. I don’t know if a time limitation has struck or if this is a beta2 bug.
However, I wanted to see if it makes sense for me to upgrade from the pro to the server version. Is there a way to reset the trial period?
No, you can’t reset the trial period nor can you extend it.

You can use all the Server features… if you haven’t activated a seat for DEVONthink 4. The beta gives you access to all the features of the Server edition unless you activate a seat for a lower edition. Is that what you did?
Thanks, that was it: I had mistakenly linked DT to my Pro license - and the server was gone. Not surprising really…
I hope that the beta versions will still be tested for a long time so that I can enjoy the server functions for as long as possible
