DT4 has crashed on me again today. It’s happening fairly regularly and at least once in every session I’m using it.
It doesn’t seem to happen with anyone particular task, at least not that I’ve noticed and seems fairly random. Today was creating a Rich Text file when suddenly, with no warning, DT4 disappears from the screen. When I re-open DT4 it picks up exactly where I left off. There is no loss of data, no file corruptions and no other problems other than any databases I had open will now be closed.
I can simply re-start DT4, open the DB I’m working with again and carry on. It’s more annoying than problematic.
The log doesn’t seem to indicate any reasons either. When I re-start DT4, the log window pops up and tells me that it has loaded correctly.
Any ideas?
