I don’t mind having a Markdown editor that mixes formatted display with editing. However, it ignores the specified Markdown style sheet, as well as ignoring the fonts configured on the Editing tab under Format. The (apparently hard-coded) fonts are tiny (to my eyes), and I can’t find any way to adjust them.
So please make the Markdown editor obey either the configured editing fonts or the Markdown style sheet. If that’s not possible, please add an option to just edit Markdown as text like before. (If it exists, I can’t find it.)
The editor is not HTML-based and therefore does neither use nor support CSS, only the preview does.
The Markdown font in Settings > Editing > Format is used if syntax colorizing and/or WYSIWYG editing are enabled, otherwise the plain text font is used.
Thanks! It was pretty annoying to have to go through and configure everything again because my settings from DT3 didn’t get carried over, but I guess I’ll only have to do it once.
By the way, the zip file is only 0.3MB smaller than the dmg, because the dmg is already a compressed plain file, so it seems an unnecessary annoyance to have to unzip it unless there’s something I’m missing.
From now on DEVONthink will use the same application name, bundle identifier, preferences and application support folder, no matter whether version 4, 5, etc. Therefore this was the last migration of this kind.
