At this time, the custom metadata hasn’t migrated but that will be addressed in an update.

  1. Quit DEVONthink.
  2. In the Finder, hold the Option key and choose Go > Library.
  3. Go into the Application Support/DEVONthink 3 directory and copy the CustomMetadata.plist file into the DEVONthinkdirectory in App Support.
  4. Go into the Templates.noindex folder in DEVONthink 3 and you can copy or alias templates to the DEVONthink directory.
  5. Launch DEVONthink 4.
