DT4: Very small feature request (Find)

I’m happy to be told I’m the only human using DT that is looking for this, but, just in case I’m not - I’d love it if there was a way in the DT4 configuration to bind “Command-F” directly to what currently behaves as “Find In Database” (Option-Command-F).

The way I use DT means that I am far more likely to need to Find something somewhere in my several open databases and groups than to want to use the Search Inspector directly for the item I’ve already selected.

I couldn’t get the native macOS Application specific keyboard shortcut mappings to do this (but getting sub-menus to work right is always something I forget how to do correctly), but have worked around it by using Keyboard Maestro and binding Command-F to the appropriate menu option when DT4 is open.

Very minor thing, and perhaps I really am the only person who would find this helpful…and if so, I’m happy with my workaround.

Loving the start to DT4!

Thanks for the feedback and the suggestion, so far it’s indeed probably the first request of its kind (as far as I can remember).

Which app is that, Jim, please?

Thanks!

But what are you doing answering queries in the middle of your night? Do you never sleep?

I’m trying to, honestly.
