DTP annotation feature?

I’ve annotated in DEVONthink periodically, but mostly rely on other annotation apps – and then import those annotations back into DEVONthink. One users recently suggested that DEVONthink has a function that splits annotations into discrete notes (i.e., in the way that apps like Highlights or MarginNote function).

Just wondering if this is true or false. So far, I don’t see that annotation feature, though it would be wonderful it DEVONthink could develop it!

There isn’t a function that creates a note per annotation, but Tools > Summarize Annotations generates a document of the current annotations in a document.
