DTP Office 2.96 crashing on pdf-Files

Hi you all,
I daily use Devonthink Pro Office 2.9.6 with a Scansnap ix500 (the latest ScanSnap Manager Version 6.3 L60 installed) on my iMac 27“Mid 2010, 20 GB RAM, 2,93 GHz i7 and macOS Sierra 10.12.2 Beta (16C32f).
Just wanted to inform that since the latest update of Devonthink Pro everytime I click in my database on a pdf-File no matter whether its set up by the Scansnap or not, DevonThink Pro crashes.
Maybe anybody out there has the same problem or got a workaround? I also mailed it with a crashlog to Mac bug report

Warning: new MacOS Sierra Beta 10.12.2 (public)

Warning for users of the public beta from MacOS Sierra: The combination MacOS Sierra 10.12.2 (public) beta 1 and DevonTHINK Pro Office 2.9.6 does not work together: DevonTHINK will crash when trying to view any pdf file. Hope this gets analyzed and fixed soon…
