DTPO, CanoScan 8800f and MacOS 10.11 El Capitan

My system is as described in the titel:

DTPO 2.8.7,
OS 10.11 El Capitan
Canon Canoscan 8800f

Is there someone with the same scanner who got it running with DTPO under El Capitan?

Canon doesn’t provide a driver yet, given not enough time by Apple I guess… Althrough Silverfast and Vuescan are working with the device out of the box other apps including DT don’t even recognize it.

DEVONthink uses Apple’s Image Capture technology, therefore scanning should be possible if the Image Capture application recognizes the scanner. Otherwise an updated driver is required.

Thank you for your answer.

I hoped I could upgrade to EC for all the fixed security issues.
So I’ll stick with 10.10 and wait for Canon doing there work.
