I am wondering what would be the best way to run a DTPO database remotely without having to access it on my computer. I don’t want to keep my computer at home running all day just to access a DTP database from time to time. Is there a way to host the database on an FTP site or some other remote access service so I can access this database securely? Perhaps MobileMe can be used to do this? Or even putting DTP on online with a device like the PogoPlug?http://pogoplug.com/
Not sure it would work, but I would assume you would open the database and turn on the server but this would have to be done remotely?
If anyone has any tips on this that would be great as I want to access my databases remotely, but don’t want to keep computers on when I really don’t need them to be on.
