The update and a fresh sync seems to have restored DTTG 3 back to its stable, excellent norm. Thank you.

I was also hit very hard by this bug.
Although using 3 different sync stores I lost some of my work.
Having every DB twice was very confusing.
It took me the whole Saturday evening to figure out the problem itself and then the whole Sunday to fix and re-sync all of my DBs with all of my end-devices and sync-Stores using v3.8.16.
This was a very disturbing experience and I‘m still fighting with the aftermath of bad feelings.
On the other hand I‘m surprised how calm this serious issue is covered here by DT.
