DTTG 4.2 File Rename Option Reinsert

Prior to latest DTTG4.2 was the option to select a phrase and the option to (Copy, Paste, Set Name As,…). Set Name As, was replaced with “Hide Statistics” or “Show Statistics”, for unknown reason.

  • “Set Name As”, was more useful in context selection! Can this be reinserted into DTTG context selection?

Thanks for the suggestion. Note, on an iPad in windowed mode, it’s still available under the Edit menu. And if you have a keyboard, it’s available via Control-Command-I (just as it is in DEVONthink on the Mac).

I have filed an issue on it.

Thanks for response. As one looks at the potential for ai within databases it appears that appropriate folder and file names will eliminate unnecessary file content searches. This speeds things up and reduces computing power. Good to know about iPad but often I capture notes on iOS devices & name them appropriately.
