DTTG 4 sporadically freezes or stutters on iPhoneo (latest iOS)

I have upgraded to DTTG4 on my iPhone 17 Pro running iOS 26.1 and also on my iPad (again, latest iPadOS).

The data migration and licensing went smoothly. I have recreated the sync setup (to a local WebDAV server I’ve been using for years) and haven’t encountered any issues with this either.

However, DTTG4 on the iPhone randomly freezes (especially when scrolling the group or database lists) or stutters (stops responding to touch events and then suddenly resumes). This is not happening on the iPad installation.

I have restarted the phone a few times, ensured the old DTTG3 app is deleted, and checked the available space on the phone (I have plenty: over 300GB), but this hasn’t helped.

The stuttering/freeze seems to occur when the app is first opened, but I can’t say for sure whether it is a first-run issue.

The problem has manifested in v4.0.1 and as of today, v4.0.2.

Any ideas or guidance will be very much appreciated! I am using the same databases from DTTG3, and nothing material (DB size or count) has changed for the DTTG4 install.

Well, what is the size / number of items?
Choose Action (…) > Settings > About > Contact Us. What is listed for the number of items in the number of databases ? And yes, you can delete the draft.

Thanks for the quick follow-up. The size/number of items is: 5.96GB / 23728 items.

I have sent the support request as suggested. Hope the log files will help solve this :crossed_fingers: .
