DTTG "blank" PDFs

I’m quite new to DT so am fully prepared to discover I don’t know what I’m doing, but this is defeating me.

I originally set up DTP on my iMac to sync to WebDAV and then to DTTG through that sync location. All was well.

Today I rearranged things. I created a new database on my iMac and moved a bunch of PDFs to it, then synced my MacBook, iPad, and iPhone before switching them to sync via Bonjour. All appeared well with document counts matching across all devices for the Global Inbox, but I chose to replicate the new database ONLY to my iPhone.

The document count on the iPhone is correct, and I can see the document list (in the inbox) with titles and sizes, but tapping on any of them brings up a mostly blank screen with the legend “Nothing selected” and only a back button to return to the inbox.

I tried deleting the app from my iPhone, reinstalling and re-linking to the iMac but I get the same result – “empty” PDFs. I can, however, successfully view a PDF from the Global Inbox.

I cannot replicate that issue (which was addressed in the 2.1.2 release). Please choose Help > Contact Us to start a support Ticket. Thanks!

I actually just encountered this very issue!

It occurred with only one file, and a duplicate of that same file in a different database, both of which had been at rest in their same location for a couple weeks.

I had to go to DEVONthink on my Mac, export the file (drag it to the desktop), delete it from the database, and re-import it. Sync everything up, and the file was back to normal on iOS (notably, for the entire time, there was no apparent issue on the Mac, the culprit file that was broken on iOS was fine on Mac…).
